The Difference Between Epson XP600 Print Head, Epson 5th Generation Head, 7th Generation Head
- FninkJet
Epson 5th generation print head parameters: 8 nozzles in a single row
1. The width of the print head is 24.5mm, each head has 8 rows of nozzle holes, each row has 180 nozzles, and the total number of nozzles is 1440.
2. The print head is equipped with a unique wave size connection variable printing technology, which solves the horizontal stripes caused by the PASS channel on the drawing surface, and the image is vivid.
3. FDT technology: when the ink jet volume of a nozzle is reduced, it will immediately get a frequency conversion signal, so as to open the nozzle.
4. The ink droplet size of 3.5PL makes the resolution of the pattern reach an amazing 2880dpi, which is comparable to the effect of high-definition photos. With a fineness as small as 0.2 mm, it is as thin as hair. It is not difficult to imagine that no matter how small the material is, it can perfectly show the pattern!
Epson 7th generation head parameters: double row 8 nozzles

It can be seen that the technical parameters of the 5th generation head and the 7th generation head are basically the same.
Epson XP600 print head parameters: 6 nozzles in a single row
1. 6 channels, of which there are 180 nozzles for four CMYK colors, 360 for two light colors, a total of 1440 nozzles, and the number of nozzles is the same as that of the 5th generation head and the 7th generation head.
2. The print head is equipped with a unique wave size connection variable printing technology, which solves the horizontal stripes caused by the PASS channel on the drawing surface, and the image is vivid. Judging from Epson’s expression, there is no difference between the two, and the images here are vivid, and consumers can only compare them to the manufacturers themselves!
The ink droplets are all the same size, nothing else to say the reason why the XP600 is said to be the most cost-effective is that the price of the printhead is cheap, only over two hundred dollars. The service life is similar, and the printing results are similar.
