What is the Difference Between LED Flatbed Printer and Traditional Inkjet Printing
- FninkJet
First of all, we need to know the meaning of UV. In English, UV means ultraviolet light, so UV inkjet printing is a new type of inkjet printing process that uses ultraviolet light to cure the ink. Simply put, it is a new type of printer.
1. Ink characteristics: (There are three main types of UV inks, namely water-based jet ink, hot melt jet ink and low-viscosity jet ink).
2. UV ink is divided into hard ink (mainly for plate printing, strong adhesion) and soft ink (suitable for leather, PVC and other soft materials that are not easy to crack and fall off)
3. Strong adhesion, sun resistance, delayed fading, washing resistance, friction resistance, high hardness and scratch resistance.
4. Low VOC, low energy demand; instant drying; suitable for a variety of substrates; no drying before curing; no clogging of the nozzle; no need to clean the nozzle; stable ink composition; high printing quality (light and friction resistance); no pollution
5. Its instant curing characteristics make the UV ink no components penetrate into the surface of the substrate after being ejected from the nozzle, and have no connection with the substrate at all, so there is no need to worry that the ink will penetrate into the substrate and affect the surface performance of the substrate.
6. The advantage of UV ink for inkjet equipment is that the nozzle will not be cured, which eliminates the need to clean the nozzle to remove insoluble components. From the perspective of industrial production, due to the shortened maintenance time of UV printers, the use of LED flatbed printer can achieve greater production efficiency.
